Art is a creative subject, we want our pupils to be creative and we as teachers should start by being creative ourselves, leading by example if you like.  It is not the intention to provide a series of finished projects that can be simply carried out in lesson situations.  The ideas in this book are intended to set both teacher and pupils thinking.  In most cases the short description of a project will require further working out by the teacher involved, they must try and make the idea their own, develop it for their own lesson situation.  Be as creative as you can, make the ideas fit your own pupils.
